GGOS a Masterpiece of Geodesy

GGOS is like an orchestra playing a masterpiece of music. The composer is the System Earth. The music sheets are the signals caused by changes of the System Earth. The musical instruments are the geodetic sensors detecting the signals of Earth System changes. The musicians are the Scientific Services of the International Association of Geodesy identifying, processing, and understanding the fingerprints of Earth System changes registered by the geodetic observations. The orchestra director is the GGOS organisational structure finding the precise combination and harmonisation of the individual instruments to reach a comprehensive, magnificent, and the best possible performance.
