GGOS Japanは、全球統合測地観測システム（GGOS）に関して関係機関相互の緊密な連携・協力を確保し、GGOSに関する活動を効果的に推進するためのグループです。
GGOS Japan is a group to ensure close cooperation among the GGOS-related institutions in Japan and to effectively foster activities associated with GGOS.
GGOS Japanが日本測地学会坪井賞（団体賞）を受賞！(2023.10.12)
GGOS Japan Awarded Tsuboi Prize from Geodetic Society of Japan! (October 12, 2023)
2023年10月12日、仙台で開かれた日本測地学会講演会において、GGOS Japanが日本測地学会賞坪井賞（団体賞）を受賞しました。8つの関係機関、一橋大学・国土地理院・海上保安庁・国立極地研究所・宇宙航空研究開発機構・情報通信研究機構・国立天文台・東京大学に賞状が授与され、代表者である大坪俊通と宮原伐折羅が記念講演を行いました。また、GGOS Presidentである Laura Sánchezさんからの祝辞も披露しました。これまでの10年間にご尽力いただいたみなさま、国内外から支えてくださったみなさまに感謝いたします。
On October 12, 2023, GGOS Japan was awarded the Tsuboi Prize (group prize) from the Geodetic Society of Japan. In Sendai where the Society’s annual meeting was held, the award certificates were given to eight institutions (Hitotsubashi University, Geospatial Information Authority of Japan, Japan Coast Guard, National Institute of Polar Research, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, National Institute of Information and Communications Technology, National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, and University of Tokyo). After the award ceremony, Toshimichi Otsubo and Basara Miyahara jointly gave a commemorative talk with Laura Sánchez’s pre-recorded speech as GGOS President. GGOS Japan would like to thank those who have been actively involved and who have supported us over the past ten years.

新たにGGOS Japanのロゴマークを制定！(2022.03.17)
New GGOS Japan logo established! (March 17, 2022)
北海道大学にて開催された令和3年度GGOS Japan報告会において、新たにロゴマークが制定されました。一橋大学の石井萌さんによるデザインです。
A new logo of GGOS Japan was established in our annual meeting held at Hokkaido University on March 17, 2022. It was designed by Moe Ishii, a student at Hitotsubashi University.
